Editor’s note: Sorry for the lack up updates to the site. There were, well, some “creative differences” about the site. But we’re back for a post now, hopefully more later.

Editor: It’s been a while since we’ve updated. Do you want to tell us what’s going on with Power of Danger now?

PoDC: Yes. Uh-huh. The Power of Danger is in school, and he’s playing basketball. It’s a pretty hard game, right?

Editor: It is a hard game. He’s not playing soccer, like you?

PoDC: No, he’s not playing soccer. That’s his last sport. Soccer is his last sport.

Editor: What does that mean, “his last sport?”

PoDC: It means it is the last sport he plays in school.

Editor: So is he a good basketball player?

PoDC: Not really. Even though he plays basketball a lot, he’s not really a good basketball player.

Editor: Why not? I thought he was the best at everything he did.

PoDC: He’s better at soccer. That’s his best sport and favorite. He’s been playing soccer for over eight thousand years.

Editor: But I thought he was only 12 years old.

PoDC: I know. His birthday is on December 30th. That’s why he’s been playing soccer for over eight thousand years. He’s really good at battling and sword fighting.

Editor: You drew a picture of Power of Danger recently. Can I post it here.

PoDC: Yes.

PoDC: That’s Power of Danger and that’s his face. He’s the fastest animal on the Earth. His favorite animal is a Polar Bear.

Editor: What’s your favorite animal?

PoDC: Black bear.

Editor: You little sister just woke up from her nap. We’ll have to pick this up later…

PoDC: OK.

What’s the story in the first movie, The Mask of Weapons?

Editor: You told me a bit about the first movie, but you didn’t really tell me the story. So what happens in the first movie? Let’s start from the beginning.

Power of Danger Creator: It’s called The Mask of Weapons. The first part he, um, there was something and he couldn’t shoot so he had to tear up his prey.

Editor: Tear up his prey? You mean rip them apart?

PoDC: Sort of.

Editor: That sounds pretty violent.

PoDC: What does violent mean?

Editor: Um. It means that people are getting really hurt. Very seriously. I don’t think you mean it to be that serious. Do you understand how serious the fighting sounds in this movie? It sounds like people are getting really very hurt.

PoDC: No, the ones that are really getting hurt are the bad guys. Is that good?

Editor: Not really. Just because they’re bad doesn’t mean it’s OK for them to get hurt. Only if they’re really hurting you or others and you need to protect yourself. Let’s get back to the story. How does it start?

PoDC: It starts with a bad guy and he’s fighting him and he goes into the real world of India because he falls down a hole and he’s locked in a cage with a bad guy and if you fall down a hole you get untrapped. Because it saves you.

Editor: Who goes into the real world of India? The Power of Danger or the bad guy or both?

PoDC: Both of them. Both of them go into the real world of India.

Editor: What’s the bad guy’s name?

PoDC: He’s a nice bad guy. His name is Peter Alley. The other bad guys that are really bad, they call him other names, but Peter Alley is a good bad guy.

Editor: What is a good bad guy?

PoDC: They’re bad guys that are on the heroes’ team.

Editor: Does that mean they do bad things, but they do them to help people?

PoDC: Yeah. They do them to help people. He’s the only good bad guy in the movie.

Editor: OK, so they fall into the hole, out of the cage, and into India. What happens there?

PoDC: I wanted to tell you they live in different places. Peter Alley lives in China and Power of Danger lives in India.

Editor: I know, you told me that before. What happens when they both get to the real world of India?

PoDC: Well, Power of Danger can move but Peter Alley gets stuffed. He can’t move and he gets stuffed and he just can’t move. He has to be dugged up before he can move. Power of Danger digs him up but just a little bit. He doesn’t put his foot on it. He only uses his hands because he doesn’t want him to get hurt. Well, he digs it all the way. Peter Alley is 19 years old and so he’s bigger. The powerfullest hero of all is The Power of Danger. There’s a part and he’s racing a ria.

Editor: What’ a ria? How do you spell it?

PoDC: Let me get my book. [Returns with The Encyclopedia of Animals] Rhea. Let me tell you about it. [PoDC proceeds to read to me about what a rhea is (ostrich-like birds).]

Editor: Did that happen in the first movie?

PoDC: Yeah. His other brother is Diego. He’s eight years old.

Editor: You already told me about his brothers, but you didn’t tell me about Diego. Let’s get back to the story. After Power of Danger digs out Peter Alley, what happens?

PoDC: Well he can move again and he turns bad.

Editor: Like really bad, or a good bad guy.

PoDC: Just a little bad. If 500 days is over, he will be a good bad guy again.

Editor: So after he turns bad, what does he do?

PoDC: He turns onto the bad guys’ team.

Editor: Right. I understand that, but what happens in the movie. Do Power of Danger and Peter Alley fight? Do they part ways and go do different things?

PoDC: No, they fight to see who will win the challenge. If Power of Danger wins, Peter Alley will turn good. If Peter Alley wins, he will turn even more bad and it will be an even bigger challenge. Even before, Power of Danger is a great sword fighter. He could get a sword on you because you can’t get your sword on him because he reaches back like this [PoDC leans back and juts his arm forward; it looks like he’s fencing].

Editor: So this sound like an interesting start to a movie. Especially if Peter Alley gets away and they have to fight later. Is that what happens?

PoDC: No. They fight. Power of Danger wins. Peter Alley’s sword is a magnet, a whip, and a sword. You know what Power of Danger’s tools are. A whip, a gun, and a sword. A gun is available in the fight.

Editor: I’m not sure I like that you’re putting guns in the fight. They’re very violent.

PoDC: OK, let’s get back to the movie. The second part is a rockslide. He goes in a mountain and there’s a lot of dust and he falls and he’s alright and he slide right into the tigers’ home. And the tigers think, there are 60 tigers, “Hmmm. Should we keep him?” That’s because he was so cute.

Editor: They didn’t want to eat him for dinner?

PoDC: No. They were Bengal tigers. B-E-N-G-A-L. OK. So they kept him and he was a helper and he got what the tigers ate. They eat [reading from his encyclopedia] deer, pigs, cattle, antelope, some smaller mammals and birds.

Editor: I think you’re going to have to save that thought. Your sister is waking up from her nap. We’ll talk more about this later, OK? Think about what you want to happen in the first movie. and we’ll finish telling the story later.

PoDC: [Dejected] OK.

What is Power of Danger’s first movie?

Power of Danger Creator: It’s called The Mask of Weapons. In the first movie, someone pushed him into a rock and he went [PoDC jumps on the couch] and he was so hurt that a little bleeding spot came out of his nose because he was so, so, so, so hurt. Actually, that didn’t happen. Actually, there was a bad guy. He has teeth, these two fangs that grow up to be 200 pounds sharp.

Editor: What does that mean? 200 pounds sharp?

PoDC: That means that it grows so sharp that when you touch it it will leave a little spot on you where you touch it because it is so sharp. It will even bleed a little bit. Not a lot. When Power of Danger told him to be secret he wasn’t listening. He was so into adventure that he wasn’t listening. He’s not even a detective or a thief. He’s a strong strong strong strong strong superhero.

Editor: Wait. Who has the sharp teeth?

PoDC: Power of Danger has the fangs. They’re big enough to crush an elephant.

Editor: I thought the bad guy had the fangs.

PoDC: Well, that wasn’t true because he [PoD] had the fangs.

Editor: What was the bad guy’s name?

PoDC: His name was Detective Motor. Motor is his last name. Most people call him Motor. His middle name is Crusher. Power of Danger doesn’t say “Motor.” He says “Detective.” So when you see Detective Motor, run for your life because he is so powerful. Chokemanodoc, that’s the most powerfullest bad guy. He’s only in the Batboy movie.

Editor: Which is the Batboy movie?

PoDC: It’s called The Adventure of Danger. I want to tell you something really silly. Batboy is scarier than Power of Danger, but Power of Danger is stronger than Batboy.

Editor: I think we’re on a bit of a tangent here and it’s time for bed. We can talk more about this tomorrow.

PoDC: I wanted to tell you something about Power of Danger. Um, Power of Danger is the strongest hero there is. He could challenge any bad guy.

Editor: OK. Time for bed. Say good night.

PoDC: Good night….

Where does The Power of Danger live?

Power of Danger Creator: He lives in India and still speaks English. His brothers are Spider Boy (he’s 49 years old), Flame Boy (he’s 30 years old) and his last one is Water Boy (he’s 44 years old). And his sisters are Rose and Alicia.

Editor: How does he get around?

PoDC: He walks around and runs around and his enemies try to catch him but he catches his enemies instead of his enemies catching him.

Editor: How would he get to, say, America from India?

PoDC: He jumped on a plane that was from America (this is only in the show) and it went all the way there and he jumped off and he didn’t know that he was hanging on the back of the plane. His adventure in America is in the third movie. The third movie is called The Silver Flute.

Editor: What’s it like where he lives?

PoDC: Well, he lives near rhinos. The rhinos are his pets. He lives near water pools so his rhinos can jump in and take a bath. It’s in the country. His parents went away for two hundred years. They went to China and they didn’t see them until two hundred years was over. They only lived for three hundred years. In the fourth movie he got caught in a net. The fourth movie is called Darkness, Blackness and Light. His rhinos can survive for four hundred years without any water. They’re black rhinos.

Editor: We have to go get ready for the birthday party now, so we’ll do more later.

PoDC: He doesn’t have a birthday party because he’s a hero. He’s turning 13. He’s going to be a teenager.

Editor: OK. We have to get ready now.

Who is The Power of Danger?

Power of Danger Creator: Well, he’s a really powerful superhero. He has a sword, whip and gun. Those are his tools to fight down the enemies. He can go in an explosion without getting hurt. Or killed. OK, so, and, when something dangerous happens he falls and goes like this [PoDC gets on the floor and crouches like a jaguar creeping up on his prey].

There’s a monster and he goes up like, “Who are you!?!” Well, in the story, they don’t say “please” because they get into fights about it. He’s there to save people and defeat enemies. He has this pointed hair, and when his sister was getting hurt (her name is Rose and she’s 11 years old) he had pants that are the same color as mine [tan] and he had a white shirt and the dot of Pokemon. That was only in the shows, not the movies.
